EMERGENCY CLOSURE NOTICE 2026
°¬˛ćAƬ County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 14(2)(b) and 15(7)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, intends to close, to all traffic, the length of path as more particularly described in the schedule below for a maximum period, as specified.
SCHEDULE
Location Level crossing and steps between Llandafal Court and railway line under Cwm By pass
Alt. Route South to roundabout and back as shown on plan
Reason While repairs to rotten steps are planned and carried out by Network Rail.
Duration From 16:00 on Friday the 21st August 2026 for a maximum
period of 21 days or until the works are complete whichever
is the earlier.
